Loki, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Private Adoption
Private Adoption
Adoption
PALoki1
This is Loki. She is a 4 year old rhodesian ridgeback cross. She is an alpha female. She is super sweet and snuggly and loves people. She gets along great with other dogs, but upon first meeting she is dominant. She will chase cats outside but would never hurt one. She gets along with cats indoors. She loves to hike, bike, and swim. She is an excellent outdoor companion. She gets frightened when humans catch her by surprise and she responds with barking. She is very calm and relaxed when there is lots of open space for her to roam around, but she usually sticks very close to her human's side. I work 28 days on 28 days off and I have to shuffle her among friends when I am gone. Loki would do best in a consistent environment with a person who knows how to work with alpha dogs. I am willing to dog share 28 on/28 off or offer as a full adoption to the right person. She is definitely worth the effort.

Frankie for Private Adoption
Private Adoption
Adoption
FrankieLabPA
Frankie is a spayed 5 year old chocolate lab, pitt bull cross. A well trained 70 lb's of loyalty and love. She's a great bear dog, but is protective to a fault. We adopted her 3 years ago but our recent move from a rural acerage to a more a more densely populated area has exasperated her protective instincts. She has never once shown any aggression towards us or our kids but is feircely protective. This has lead to a few instances of biting. This fear-aggression is rare but is towards only SOME men, all of whom are strangers. She is definitely one of the best dogs I've ever known and it's painful to give her away but she needs more room and less people. She would thrive in a loving home on a large a acerage with or without other dogs. If you know anyone who is interested call Amanda Sawatzky at 250-825-4002.

Blake and Hunter for Private Adoption
Private Adoption
Adoption
Blake-and-Hunterweb
Blake (left) 5 yrs old malamute/lab cross.
Hunter (right) 2 yrs old boxer/border collie cross.
We are hoping to find a good home for our two dogs. They are best of buds, and we would prefer they stay together. They need a lot of land to run on preferably somewhere with an acreage. Both dogs are great with kids. Both are neutered with up to date rabies shots.
Blake is a docile dog, he loves exercise and chasing birds, but at times would prefer to lay down in the shade and take it easy. Blake has some anxiety issues if left by himself. XL size dog.
Hunter is full of energy. Loves swimming, chasing after the ball, playing with just about any toy, and running. He doesn't stray to far on walks, and always checks back to make sure where you are. Medium size dog.
Blake and hunter are currently in the Trail area. For more information please email Nicole, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Missing Yorkie Puppy in Trail
Private Listing
Lost
missingdino
"My 7 month old puppy went missing Satruday May 12th during the fireworks at approximately 9 30 p.m. He was last seen on 3rd avenue and has been gone since then and someone thought they may have spotted him at the Gyro Park boatlaunch parking lot last night (May 13th) at 8 00 p.m. He is a very friendly kind puppy that gets along with other dogs and is curious but he was probably very frightened and hungry right now and trying to find his way home. Please post this ad for us on your website so we can get as much help as possible! There is a $500 reward for him and any information or spottings please grab him and call 250 512 9045.
His name is Dino and he responds to it and he is 1/4 Chiwawah and 3/4 yorkie, He is our chorkie and he is small-medium in size with brown and black fir and white fir on his head.
Sincerely
Sara Emery"

Maddy (KAAP#858)
Kootenay Animal Assistance Program (KAAP)
Adoption
maddydeb1
Maddy is a spayed, 3 yr. old Piebald Dachsund X [ Papillon ? ] Due to personal and health issues, she is needing a forever home. Maddy would do well in a quiet, adult home, [older kids would be OK] where the people are experienced pet owners. Maddy would like another small dog buddy, if possible, to play with and a fenced yard would be great. She is very playful, loves her squeak toys, balls, etc. Walks well on her leash. She can sleep in her kennel , in your bedroom, at night, but would rather sleep with you.
